Families exploring private schools in Lancaster, Pa are often looking for more than academics — they want a place where their child is truly known, cared for, and encouraged to grow in faith and confidence. At Lititz Christian School, we nurture the whole child through Christ-centered learning, strong relationships, and a community that feels like family.
We believe every student is uniquely created with purpose. Through small class sizes and caring teachers who know each child by name, we create an environment where students feel supported, valued, and inspired to discover their God-given gifts. Together with families, we help children build the knowledge, character, and confidence they need to thrive — in school and far beyond.
To glorify God by providing quality Christ-centered early childhood education dedicated to children’s spiritual, social-emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Lititz Christian School partners with Christian families to provide a biblical, academic education which prepares students to honor Jesus Christ in scholarship, vocation, and lifestyle.
Dr. Jerry Young’s vision for a Christ-centered school became a reality as ground was broken for the first wing of Lititz Christian School. Designed to serve 44 students, this initial building represented more than bricks and mortar, it was the beginning of a faith-filled community committed to nurturing students academically and spiritually. This first step set the trajectory for the growth and impact of Lititz Christian for generations to come.
Lititz Christian begins serving families in the earliest stages of childhood by providing high-quality early learning care for children from 6 weeks through prekindergarten. In a nurturing, Christ-centered environment, our youngest students are surrounded by caring educators who foster curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Lititz Christian obtained its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, marking an important step toward organizational independence and long-term sustainability. This milestone allowed the school to establish its own governance, strengthen its mission, and pursue new opportunities for growth.
Lititz Christian begins providing after-school care in the Manheim Central School District, creating a unique opportunity to extend our Christ-centered mission beyond our current campuses and into a broader community of families. This initiative allows us to build meaningful relationships with students who may not otherwise experience a Christian school environment, offering a safe, nurturing space where children are known, loved, and pointed toward Jesus.
Lititz Christian expanded its early learning program by opening additional early learning sites and increasing access for families while maintaining a consistent, Christ-centered approach to care and education.” This growth reflected the school’s commitment to serving children and families in the earliest stages of development and responding to the needs of the surrounding community.
